- Fitness Journey: My fitness journey started as a kid, I played all different kinds of sports growing up. I didn’t get serious about fitness until almost 7 years ago when I became a personal trainer. I love helping people realize what they are truly capable of through fitness. This sparked my interest in teaching group fitness. Fast forward, I have now taught spin for a couple of years and I am so excited to take my knowledge from personal training, my love for building a community, and the drive I have to help others achieve their goals and put that into our Build classes!
- Favorite Workout Routine: I’m a sucker for anything group fitness. Spinning at GritCycle or taking a HIIT class at Barry’s are my go-to’s. But really anything with a sense of community and intensity I’m down for!
- Favorite Music to Workout to: Anything Hip-Hop, EDM, or with a heavy beat drop

- Favorite Workout Routine: My workout routine is all about variety and high energy. I love group fitness classes like Barry's and GritCycle, where the intensity and community vibe keep me motivated. Lifting with my trainer is another key part of my routine, helping me build strength and push my limits. I’m always up for anything that challenges me, especially when there’s fun hip-hop music in the background to keep the energy up and make the workout even more enjoyable.
- Fitness Journey: My fitness journey began with a love for sports as a kid, which eventually led me to the world of diving, where I became a Division 1 athlete in college. After graduating, maintaining a consistent routine was challenging, but that changed when I discovered group fitness classes. These classes reignited my passion for fitness, providing the structure and community I needed to stay motivated and active. Now, I lift with a personal trainer to build strength and teach indoor cycling classes, where I can inspire others to find their own fitness paths.
- Favorite Music to workout to: Hip Hop, R&B, Reggeaton, and Afrobeats

- Favorite Workout Routine(s): Running and Indoor Spin are my go-to workouts! I also love Lagree, Yoga and HIIT classes.
- Favorite music to workout to: I love Hip Hop and TrapxHouse, R&B. Anything with a really good beat that keeps the energy high!
- Fitness Journey - Though I was active when I was younger, my fitness journey really began after high school when I discovered my passion for running. This initial spark led me to explore and fall in love with various other workouts, each offering a new way to challenge myself and grow stronger. In 2020, I was introduced to indoor spin and it quickly became one of my passions. I became an instructor a while after that ,which ignited a deeper passion within me-not just for my own fitness goals, but helping others reach their potential and achieve their personal goals. Seeing others transform through fitness drives me every day, and I’m excited to be a part of their journey!

- Favorite Workout Routine: While I have a strong affinity for functional fitness workouts and Strength Training, I also enjoy the occasional spin class. My primary focus is on activities that foster a sense of community among our Tribe members.
- Fitness Journey: A turning point came when I found myself out of breath playing with my children. Determined to change, I started with P90X and Insanity Workouts, but soon found them monotonous. In 2014, I discovered functional fitness through a Groupon my wife found and quickly developed a passion for it. Three years later, I began coaching to give back to the community. Recently, I have expanded my qualifications to include Personal Training and incorporated Build into my regimen.
- Best Fitness Tip: Life presents numerous challenges, but they should never compromise your health. It's essential to find a sustainable and healthy lifestyle and connect with a supportive TRIBE that helps you BUILD & RIDE through those challenges

- Favorite Workout Routine: Strength/Resistance training 4-5 times a week right before I teach indoor spin which is where most of my cardio comes from. I also love to occasionally mix it up with a full body HIIT class at Barry’s over the weekend! Sunday is always a rest day (super important for me)!
- Fitness Journey: Since I was young, I have always been active. I started out in youth football as a kid and eventually continued to maintain my status as a student athlete through high school and college. It taught me a lot of discipline and gave me the drive to push myself in everything I do physically and mentally in both fitness and in life. After climbing the corporate ladder for six years post-grad, I decided to make a big life change and became a full time fitness instructor where I teach indoor spin GritCycle and HIIT classes Barry's and now am so stoked to work with the TRIBE community as a Build coach! I love being your biggest motivator and pushing you through all the challenges that fitness brings so that you can be the best version of yourselves!

- Fitness Journey: I grew up loving sports! I played on the basketball team in high school and in college, I found my love for running and participated in half marathons & Spartan Races. In 2015, I joined CrossFit and fell in love with the competitiveness of it! Then in 2020, I became a spin instructor. To this day, I still continue to spin, run and CrossFit consistently. I enjoy staying active and find it to be very stress relieving.
- Personal Hobby: Traveling and exploring all cultures in different cities and countries. I am also a huge foodie. I love trying new restaurants and all various types of food!
- Best Fitness Tip: Working out doesn’t have to be dreadful or a chore. Find something that you get excited for, whether it's hiking, dancing, running, lifting, or cycling. As long as you continue to move each day, you will notice a difference in how you feel physically and mentally. Remember, it’s ok to prioritize yourself too!

Dr. Mike Salvanera is a true professional who has been dedicated to transforming lives through the disciplines of CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting for over a decade. With his extensive experience and unwavering passion for acquiring knowledge, Dr. Mike is more than a fitness coach—he is a pillar of support in your quest for improved health and fitness.
Dr. Mike began his career as a CrossFit coach over a decade ago, developing a deep understanding of the intricacies of functional fitness. His commitment to helping individuals push past their limits, conquer new challenges, and unlock their potential has left an indelible mark on his clients. His journey in the realm of fitness led him to Olympic Weightlifting, where he seized the opportunity to become a coach in the sport. In this capacity, he fine-tuned his coaching acumen, culminating in his appointment as the Director of Tribe Athletics' Barbell Program. The narrative of Dr. Mike’s journey, however, continues to evolve. Besides being a seasoned CrossFit and Weightlifting coach, Dr. Mike is diligently working towards earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. This academic pursuit, coupled with his coaching experience, uniquely positions Dr. Mike as an invaluable resource for those seeking not only to excel in their fitness endeavors but also to delve into the scientific underpinnings of movement and overall well-being.

- Fitness Journey: My dad always had me do push-ups and sit-ups my whole life. Whenever I was in sports I always wanted to be able to do the most push-ups and run the fastest. When I got to high school football and found the weight room I was immediately in love. From then on I've never taken a break from training hard!
- Best Fitness tips: Don't over complicate fitness! Get stronger, eat whole foods, and stay consistent with that for years and you'll be unrecognizable
- Dream Goal: I play rugby so my ultimate goal is to one day represent team USA
